Dagens avis

Af Bo

Indere har en stor forkærlighed for forkortelser. Her er et par få pluk fra dagens avis:

2.000 policemen including companies of Central Para Military Forces (CPMF) have been deployed at strategic locations. In addition, 4 SPs, 14 ASPs, 28 deputy SPs, 550 SIs, 450 HCs, 550 constables, 40 companies of PAC, 210 commandos and one company of NDRF have also…

Overskrift:
Coal min asks state govt to work towards NCTC (dette er dog oversat i brødteksten med National Counterterrorism Centre)

Overskrift:
SIMRAN to save lives of rly gangmen.
Og lidt længere nede I teksten denne perle:
“GWS is a byproduct of SIMRAN which works on GSM technology,” said BM Shukla, principal software engineer, CSE department, IIT-Kanpur.
I samme tekst har vi: ULCGWS (Unmanned Level Crossing Gates Warning System.)

Og så er der denneher der handler om studerende:
While students of LU will take the exams in Shia Girls College (BCom and BSc) and National PG College,  Those of Shia College will take the exam at JNPG College. Similarly, students of BSNV Degree College will take the exams at DAV PG College.

Og topscoreren i dagens avis er nok denne overskrift:
VMC may re-hire A2Z to complete SWM plant.
